This interactive module provides a solid foundation for anyone starting out in medical education. All aspects of programme planning are covered, from identifying genuine needs in the healthcare or patient community, through to evaluating what changes have occurred following the implementation of your programme. Our resident expert, Lisa Sullivan, will walk you through:
- The end-to-end process of developing and planning Medical Education programmes
- What is CME vs CPD
- Why it’s important to conduct a needs assessment and create measurable learning objectives
- How to use tools to make planning an effective Medical Education programme less daunting
- How to identify different learning methods and choose the most suitable methods for your programme
- How to assess if your programme has been effective
We know a lot of us learn through doing, which is why we have included several self-learning segments. Throughout the module, Lisa will ask you to pause and consider what YOU think is correct before providing a full explanation.
The virtual module is self-paced, meaning you can stop and start when it’s convenient for you. It will take about 1.5 hours in total to work through and is available to access for 30-days from the purchase date, allowing ample time for completion.
If you are already familiar with the basics but need some help applying your knowledge in practice, consider one of our other programmes which include feedback and live interaction with Lisa Sullivan directly.
